Your Shipment

Packages are generally dispatched within 1 business day after receipt of payment and are shipped via courier.

Courier Transit Times

Please be aware of the cutoff times and definitions for the shipping options

For all orders placed - All orders are processed, packed and booked with the courier at 09:00 AM. Any order placed between 09:01 AM and 08:59 AM the next day will be booked with the courier the following day. 

Local Overnight Parcel * Mon-Fri - Courier collections are picked up at 9:00 in the morning, if the collection is missed, overnight cannot be guaranteed. In other words, the order needs to be placed before 08:00 in the morning for us to package and book the collection in time. This is for Gauteng parcels only. 

National Road freight * Mon-Fri - for any delivery outside Gauteng a delivery time of 2 - 3 days are applicable. 

There are no regional surcharges, however some selected towns may have surcharges, or require special trips to be arranged.

Some towns are only serviced on certain days.

E.g. BEREAVILLE (R250 Surcharge) - a R250 surcharge above rate applies.

E.g. NMWAMITHA (Special trip) - arrangements and quote required.

E.g. THUTHUKANI (2 4) - serviced on Tuesday and Thursday.

Return Policy

Like many retailers, we guarantee our products; if an item hasn't met your expectations, it may be returned provided it is in the same condition as has been shipped to you. If the product has been used or abused, it would not be refunded / exchanged. 

Should an item not meet your requirements it may be exchanged for another size for instance or returned for a refund. In either case, simply return the item for exchange, refund, repair, or credit within 10 business days of delivery. Or contact our office so we may arrange a courier to collect the parcel.

Goods purchased on Sale / Special / Discount is non refundable and can only be exchanged for another size should there still be another size in stock at the time of the request. This request should be made within the 10 business allowed for exchanges. 

Delivery charges are non-refundable and any additional deliver / re-delivery charges related to the exchange (if the exchange is not due to a non-performance) is to be carried by the client. A 5% handling fee may be charged on requests for refunds if this is not due to the product's non-performance.

If for any reason you want to cancel an order placed online, please call our Service Center within 4 hours after the order has been placed, a 5% admin fee may be charged in such an instance.

Returning by courier

Within the RSA: Returned items must be sent via insured, prepaid courier. Ensure your return allows you to track your parcel with the courier company. Please Note: We cannot accept CODs.

Outside the RSA: Ship goods prepaid, by insured ground shipping. To avoid unnecessary delays, please write "South African Goods returning" on the outside of the package.

Please Note: Ensure that no duties or brokerage is payable by Trailsaddles.co.za as such returns would not be accepted.

If you are requesting an exchange, please remember to include sufficient payment for the return postage, or Trailsaddles.co.za will be in contact with you so that you can allow your own courier. Where applicable, please contact your local customs office for information about any taxes or duties that may be assessed on a return shipment.

By agreeing to order a product, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions shall apply to all Orders and Contracts concluded by or with Edify International (Pty) Ltd T/A Trailsaddles.co.za for the supply of Products. When you submit an Order to Trailsaddles.co.za, give any delivery instruction or accept delivery of any Products, this shall constitute your unqualified acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions shall prevail over any separate terms put forward by you. Any conditions that you submit, propose or stipulate in whatever form and at whatever time, whether in writing, by email or verbally, are expressly waived and excluded.

Irrespective of any price you have seen or heard, once you select a Product that you wish to Order and have proceeded to the Checkout, the amount to be paid will then be shown together with the charges you must pay including VAT and courier charges.

When you submit an Order to the Site, you agree that you do so subject to the latest Terms and Conditions available on the Site at the date you submit your Order. You are responsible for reviewing the latest Terms and Conditions each time you submit an Order.

If you discover that you have made a mistake with your Order after you have submitted it, please contact info@trailsaddles.co.za within 4 business hours, if you did not contact Trailsaddles.co.za within 4 hours your order cannot be changed and will be delivered as placed, Trailsaddles.co.za taking no responsibility to replace or change anything on the order. In such an event, Trailsaddles.co.za will be willing to make the proper changes (if possible), but will be entitled to a 5% handling fee.

Delivery

We aim to deliver the Product to you at the place of delivery requested by you in your Order. Orders are only delivered to a physical address in a town, no PO Box addresses or farms are allowed.

We aim to ship within 1 business day after order (unless otherwise stated on the description of the item when the order is placed), our courier takes 1 - 4 business day to deliver, but this can be longer should the delivery town be in a remote area or the courier has encountered an unforeseen event on route.

Note - We cannot promise an exact date when you submit your Order or at the Confirmation of Order. Even if the "Over night" option has been selected, we rely on our courier for delivery and cannot take responsibility should something they have a delay.

Deliveries are done Monday to Friday between 08:00 - 17:00, there are no deliveries on the weekend even at special request. 

We shall aim to let you know if we expect that we are unable to meet our estimated delivery date, but, to the extent permitted by law, We shall not be liable to you for any losses, liabilities, costs, damages, charges or expenses arising out of late delivery.

On delivery of the Product, you may be required to sign for delivery. You agree to inspect the Product for any obvious faults, defects or damage before you sign for delivery. You need to keep receipt of the delivered Product in case of future discussions with us about it.

Please note that it might not be possible for us to deliver to some locations. If this is the case, We will inform you using the contact details that you provided when you placed the order and arrange for an alternative delivery address.

All risk in the Product shall pass to you upon delivery, except that, where delivery is delayed due to a breach of your obligations under a Contract, risk shall pass at the date when delivery would have occurred but for your breach. From the time when risk passes to you, We will not be liable for loss or destruction of the Product.

You must take care when opening the product so as not to damage it.

It is your responsibility to ensure that the Products are sufficient and suitable for your purposes and meet your individual requirements. We do not warrant that the Products will meet your individual requirements. You acknowledge that the Products are standard and not made personalized to fit any particular requirements that you may have.

Cancellation by Customer (Non-Faulty Product)

You are entitled to cancel any sale concluded on the Site within 10 days of receipt of the goods and to obtain a refund. Cancellation fees of 5% shall apply. Delivery fees and cash handling fees, where applicable, are not refundable.

Faulty Products

Trailsaddes.co.za warrants that:

a) the Product will be delivered undamaged in the quantities ordered.

Before delivery, we may make minor adjustments to material, color, weight, measurements, design and other features to the extent that they are reasonable.

We try very hard to deliver Products in excellent condition. However, if you tell us that the Product is faulty, take pictures and email to info@trailsaddles.co.za within 1 day of receipt. If nothing is reported within one day, it will be deemed that the product arrived in good condition and was damaged at a later stage.

In order to provide you with any remedies for a faulty Product, we may need your assistance and prompt provision of certain information regarding the Product, including: 
a) you specifying with reasonable detail the way in which it is alleged that the Product is damaged or defective; and 
b) you providing us with the delivery note number and such other information as we reasonably require.

If you would like Trailsaddles.co.za to replace (if reasonably possible) or provide a refund for the Product where it did conform to the applicable Contract, and we find that the Product has: 
a) been misused, abused or subjected to neglect, improper or inadequate care, carelessness, damage or abnormal conditions; or 
b) been involved in any accident or damage caused by an incorrect attempt at modification or repair; or 
c) been dealt with or used contrary to Trailsaddles.co.za or the manufacturer's instructions for the Product; or 
d) deteriorated through normal wear and tear, after delivery, We may at our discretion decide not to replace or refund you for the Product and/or We may require you to pay all reasonable carriage costs and servicing costs at Trailsaddles.co.za' current standard fees and costs.
