Start by getting a soft measuring tape. Place the measuring tape about 2 - 3 cm above your ear (or where you would feel comfortable for your hat to sit). Take the measuring tape all around your head, by pulling the measuring tape firmly but not tight around your head. This will give you the circumference of your head and enable you to determine your hat size with the help of the below sizing chart. 

* remember to take the measuring tape straight across your head, otherwise you will get an incorrect measurement.

General rules for hat storage & hat care

Most important rule is to not put a lot of pressure on the crown or brim because this may ultimately cause the hat to lose its shape.
